Sounds like you need an MRI or CT taken of your back. Is there any reason the docs didn't want to do that? Or are you just not covered for it and thus can't afford it?
I'm no doctor by any means but to me it sounds like pressure on the nerve, aka a slipped disc. An MRI would show where it is, how bad, and docs could start considering what could be done about it. It'd also show if I'm wrong.
